Hi, I’m Sachiko Ibanez. For years, I poured my heart and soul into Kokoro Salon in Castle Rock, Colorado, a space I built from the ground up to reflect everything I love about the beauty industry.

Precision, creativity, and above all, personal connection. Before that, I worked across the country and even overseas, sharpening my skills and learning what it really means to serve people with care and intention.

My journey started in Kailua, Hawaii, where I was born into a military family that moved often. I found my calling in Southern California back in 2004 and pushed myself further in Los Angeles, where I deepened my craft.

Eventually, I found myself in Misawa, Japan, where I opened my first salon. Running a business there taught me more than I could have imagined about leadership, discipline, and the little details that matter most.

Later, I spent six rewarding years in Warner Robins, Georgia, managing a high-end salon and working as an educator for J Beverly Hills. But it was in Castle Rock that I truly felt rooted. I opened Kokoro Salon to create something more than a business it was a home for trust, transformation, and top-tier hairstyling. After six incredible years, I chose to step away from ownership to focus on family and work independently as a master stylist.

In 2025, I felt a shift. I started writing. Not just about hair but about the products we trust every day. I began blogging about personal product analysis and honest, first-hand usage reviews. The same attention to detail I brought to every haircut now fuels my writing.

I cover everything from haircare and skincare to wellness and lifestyle essentials real reviews, practical tips, and the kind of insight that only comes from years behind the chair. My goal is simple: to help others make confident, informed choices in their everyday routines.
